Ingredients:
8 medSized herrings
2 Eggs
Bread crumbs
4 tbspFlour
3 largeOnions, finely chopped
Milk
Salt to taste
Sugar to taste
Butter
Procedures:
1Rinse and bone the herrings.
2Dip in flour (2 tablespoons), the beaten eggs and the bread crumbs.
3Fry in plenty of butter.
4Serve with onion sauce and boiled potatoes.
5to make the onion sauce melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a pot over a low flame.
6Stir in 2 tablespoons flour and add milk, keeping mixture smooth.
7Cook until thickened.
8Add onions and bring to a boil.
