Ingredients:
2 lbsFillet of sole (or any
-white-fleshed fish)
3/4 cupFlour
1 tspBaking powder
1/2 tspOnion powder
1/8 tspWhite pepper
1/2 cupBeer
2 Eggs, beaten
-vegetable oil
-tartar sauce
Procedures:
1The batter for this fried fish dish is light and crisp with a delicate beer flavor.
2Other fish fillets may be substituted for sole.
3pat fish dry with paper towels.
4Cut each piece in half lengthwise.
5Combine dry ingredients.
6Mix beer with eggs and 2 tbs oil and add to dry ingredients.
7Stir just until moistened.
