Ingredients:

| | Fish steaks, tamure | | | -(snapper), or hapuka | | | -(groper) | | 1/2
| cup | Milk | | 1/2
| tsp | Salt | | 1
| cup | Dry breadcrumbs | | 2
| oz | Butter | | | Watercress or parsley | | | Sliced lemon |

Procedures:
| 1 | Lay the fish in a shallow dish. | | 2 | Pour the milk over the steaks and add salt and pepper. | | 3 | Leave to soak one hour. | | 4 | Drain the milk away and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. | | 5 | Lay the steaks in a buttered baking dish. | | 6 | Melt the butter and pour over the fish. | | 7 | Bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. | | 8 | Serve garnished with sliced lemon and sprinkled with watercress. |
