Ingredients:
3 lbsLiver
8 lbsPotatoes, sliced
1/4 Slab bacon
1/4 cupSalt
2 1/2 cupGraham flour
1/2 cupButtermilk
2 1/4 cupFlour
Procedures:
1Make bags out of flour sacks.
2This recipe will fit into four 6 x 12" bags.
3Grind liver with potatoes, using a medium blade.
4Cut bacon into little pieces.
5Mix meats, potatoes and other ingredients in a very large bowl.
6When evenly combined, pack mixture into damp bags.
7Tie shut.
8Boil bags in water to cover for two hours.
9Tie shut.
10Remove from water and cool.
11Store in refrigerator.
12To use, cut bag off meat, slice meat and serve.
