Pasta vegetable chowder

Ingredients:
1 cupSmall Pasta Shape
3 cupLow-Fat Milk
10 ozBox Frozen Mixed Vegetables
Thawed and drained or
1 1/2 cupChopped Fresh Vegetables
1/2 tspDried Thyme
1/2 tspPaprika
1 1/2 tbspCornstarch
6 ozCan Clams, drained
Salt
Ground Pepper
Procedures:
1Put pasta in a large pot of boiling water.
2Drain and rinse under cold water when done.
3Combine 2 ?cups milk, vegetables, thyme, paprika, and pasta in a 2 quart saucepan.
4Cook over medium heat until bubbles form around edge of milk.
5In another bowl, stir remaining ?cup milk and cornstarch together to dissolve cornstarch.
6Stir this mixture into soup and heat to simmering.
7Add clams and simmer for about 3 minutes.
8Salt and pepper to taste.
