Ingredients:
2 cupWATER (FOR STEAMING SPINACH)
2 eachBOXES (10 OZ. EACH) FROZEN S
4 eachSCALLIONS
2 eachLARGE, RIBS CELERY
1/4 eachBUNCH PARSLEY
1/4 eachHEAD ICEBERG LETTUCE
1 tbspWORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
2 tbspANCHOVY PASTE OR
4 eachANCHOVEY FILLETS (MASHED)
1/2 tbspSALT
1/2 tbspTABASCO SAUCE
1 tbspANISE SEEDS
1 cupBREAD CRUMBS
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 400°F.
2Steam spinach about 5 minutes until tender, pour in a colander, and drain thoroughly.
3Coarsely chip scallion (tops incluced), celery, parsley, and lettuce.
4In a blender, puree all of spinach, 2 cups at a time.
5Place spinach in a bowl.
6Puree scallion, celery, parsley, and lettuce in blender.
7Pour mixture into spinach bowl.
8Mix thoroughly.
9Stir in worchestershire, anchovy paste, salt tabasco, and anise seeds to spinach mixture.
10Blend mixture in blender for 2 minute on medium speed.
11Pour mixture into bowl.
12Add bread crumbs and stir thoroughly.
13Set aside or store in refrigerator.
14Bring to room-temperature before using.
