Ingredients:
2 cupAll-purpose flour
1 pinchSalt
1 tspCaraway seeds (heaped)
3/4 cupButter
Superfine sugar, to coat
Procedures:
1Mix together the flour, salt and caraway seeds, then cut in the butter.
2Knead to a smooth dough.
3Roll out to about ?inch thick.
4Cut the dough into small circles and dredge with superfine sugar.
5Place on a greased cookie sheet and leave overnight.
6Bake in a cool oven at 250 °F for 30 to 45 minutes until the cakes are firm but not browned.
7While warm, sprinkle on a little more sugar.
