Ingredients:
2 largeSlices thin onions
1/2 cupSliced mushrooms
1/2 cupSliced water chestnuts
28 ozDrained bean sprouts
1/2 cupBamboo shoots
2 tbspCornstarch
2 cupCooked chicken cut in
-large bite sized pieces
4 largeCelery stalks
2 tbspCooking oil
2 cupChicken broth
1 tbspSoy sauce
Ground pepper
Chinese noodles
Cooked rice
Procedures:
1Split celery stalks, cut diagonally in 1 inch pieces.
2In a large skillet, heat oil and cook onions until slightly soft.
3Add celery, mushrooms and 1 ?cup chicken broth.
4Cook over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring a few times.
5Add water chestnuts, bean sprouts and bamboo shoots.
6In a small bowl, make a mixture of cornstarch, soy sauce and ?cup chicken broth and stir until smooth.
7Add mixture to the large skillet, along with the cooked meat.
8Add freshly ground pepper and mix well.
9Simmer for 10 minutes.
10Taste for seasoning, may want to add additional soy sauce.
