Fruit shake (non-dairy!)

Ingredients:
ALMOND MILK
1/2 cupAlmonds
1 tbspSyrup, maple
2 cupWater
SHAKE
2 cupFruit, frozen
1 tbspSyrup, maple
Procedures:
1Use raw almonds.
2Freeze strawberries, bananas, blueberries, peaches, or fruit of your choice.
3Place almonds in blender and grind to fine powder.
4Add syrup and 1 c water.
5Blend 1-2 minutes until smooth.
6With blender running on high, slowly add remaining water.
7Blend 2 minutes.
8Place strainer over large bowl.
9Line with cheesecloth (not 100% neccessary, but recommended.
10Otherwise strain twice with very fine strainer).
11Pour almond milk slowly into strainer and let filter through.
12When all milk has passed through strainer, press remaining milk out of accumulated almond fiber.
13Milk will keep in fridge 4-5 days.
14Leftover fiber can be used as moisturizing body scrub in the shower.
15Blend almond milk and shake ingredients in blender until creamy.
16Frozen bananas will begin to discolor after a week or so.
17Eat shakes right away, because the bananas can oxidize, changing the appearence and taste.
18Use only ripe bananas for the best shakes
