Ingredients:
1 cupGraham cracker crumbs
3 tbspSugar
3 tbspMargarine, melted
32 ozCream cheese, softened
1 cupSugar
3 tbspUnbleached all-purpose flour
4 ea Large eggs
1 cupSour cream
1 tbspVanilla
21 ozCherry pie filling
Procedures:
1Combine crumbs, sugar and margarine, press onto bottom of 9-inch spring form pan.
2Bake at 325 °F., 10 minutes.
3Combine cream cheese, sugar and flour, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended.
4Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5Blend in sour cream and vanilla; pour over crust.
6Bake at 450 °F., 10 minutes.
7Reduce temperature to 250 °F.; continue baking for 1 hour.
8Loosen cake from rim of pan; cool before remobing rim of pan.
9Chill.
10Top with pie filling just before serving.
11Variation: substitute 1 ?cups finely chopped nuts and 2 t sugar for graham cracker crumbs and sugar.
