Ingredients:
2 cupSugar
6 ozEvaporated milk
1 dashSalt
1 tspCorn syrup
4 ozUnsweetened chocolate
2 tbspButter
1 tspVanilla
Walnuts
Procedures:
1Butter sides of heavy 2 quart suacepan.
2In it combine sugar, milk, chocolate,salt and corn syrup.
3Cook and stir over medium heat until chocolate melts and sugar dissolves.
4Cook to soft ball stage (234°F) remove from heat, add butter without stirring.
5Cool to lukewarm(110f), add vanilla and beat vigorously until fudge stiffens and loses it gloss.
6Quickly stir in walnuts,push from pan(don"t scrape sides) into buttered shallow pan.
7Score while warm, cut when firm.
