Ingredients:
1 1/2 cupAll-purpose flour
3/4 cupBudweiser beer
6 tbspLight brown sugar
1 Egg
2 tbspBaking powder
2 tbspLemon juice
2 tbspCornstarch
3/4 cupWalnuts, chopped ? pcs
1/2 tbspSalt
1/2 tbspCinnamon
3/4 cupSemi-sweet chocolate chips
1 lbsMedium bananas
6 cupVegetable oil
2 tbspConfectioners' sugar
Procedures:
1Equipment: measuring cup, measuring spoons, cook"s knife, cutting board, 3 stainless steel bowls (1 large), slotted spoon, whisk, rubber spatula, deep fryer or heavy-guage 4-qt saucepan, candy/deep frying thermometer, #50 (1 ?tbsp) ice-cream scoop, tongs, baking sheet, paper towels.
2in a large stainless steel bowl, combine the flour, light brown sugar, baking powder, cornstarch, salt, and cinnamon.
3Set aside.
4peel the bananas.
5Smash them to a rough-textured consistency in a stainless steel bowl using a slotted spoon (they should yield about 1 cup).
6In another stainless steel bowl whisk together the beer, egg, and lemon juice.
7Pour the this mixture over the bananas, and use the slotted spoon to combine thoroughly.
