West african lemony chicken okra soup

Ingredients:
2 xJuice Of 2 Lemons
2 1/2 lbsBroiler Chicken
6 cupChicken Broth Or Water
1 largeOnion, Peeled & Chopped
3 xTomatoes, Peeled & Chopped
6 ozTomato Paste
15 ozSliced Okra
1/3 cupUncooked Long Grain Rice
2 tspSalt
1/4 tspPepper
1/2 tspGround Red Pepper
1 tspGround Tumeric
Procedures:
1Cut up broiler-fryer chicken.
2If using can of okra, drain it well.
3Rub lemon juice over chicken pieces.
4Put in a large kettle with chicken broth or water.
5Bring to a boil.
6Lower heat and cook slowly, covered, 12 minutes.
7Add remaining ingredients and continue to cook slowly about 30 minutes, until chicken and rice are tender.
8Remove chicken pieces and debone.
9Cut meat into small pieces and return to kettle.
