Ingredients:
15 ozBeans
21 ozSauerkraut
1 lbsSalt pork
1 lbsPotatoes
Water
1/2 cupFat
1 tbspFlour (heaping)
1 Onion
Salt
3 Bay leaves
3 Garlic cloves
Peppercorns, to taste
5 tbspSour cream
Procedures:
1Soak the beans overnight.
2Cut the sauerkraut into strips.
3Cook the meat, potatoes, beans and sauerkraut separately.
4When the meat is cooked, bone it and cut into cubes.
5Dice the potatoes.
6Crush the beans.
7Make a roux with the fat, flour and onion.
8Put meat and vegetables into a pot; add the roux and the bay leaves.
9Cover with the stock; cook 5 minutes longer.
10Before serving, add the sour cream.
