Ingredients:
2 tbspButter or margarine
2 tbspAll-purpose flour
1 cupMilk
1/2 tspSalt
1/8 tspWhite pepper
1/2 cup(about
2 ozShredded cheddar cheese
1 Pound sliced cooked chicken
4 sliceSandwich bread, toasted
8 sliceBacon, cooked, drained
And crumbled
1/4 cupGrated parmesan cheese
Procedures:
1Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over low heat; add flour, stirring until smooth.
2Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
3Gradually add milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly.
4Add salt, pepper, and cheddar cheese, stirring until cheese melts.place chicken on toast, and cover with sauce.
5Sprinkle with crumbled bacon and grated parmesan cheese.
6Bake at 400 °F for 10 minutes.
