Ingredients:

| pack | Lemon gelatin, 3 oz. | | 1/2
| tsp | Salt | | 1
| cup | Boiling water | | 3/4
| cup | Cold water | | 2
| tsp | Vinegar | | 3/4
| cup | Finely diced celery | | 1
| cup | Diced red apples | | 1/4
| cup | Chopped walnuts | | 1/4
| cup | Mayonnaise (optional) |

Procedures:
| 1 | Dissolve gelatin and salt in boiling water. | | 2 | Add cold water and vinegar. | | 3 | Chill until very thick. | | 4 | Fold in celery, apples, walnuts and mayonnaise. | | 5 | Spoon into individual molds or a 1 quart mold. | | 6 | Chill until firm. | | 7 | Unmold and serve with cream cheese or whipped topping |
