Sour cream brittlebread

Ingredients:
2 3/4 cupAll-purpose flour
1/4 cupSugar
1/2 tbspBaking soda
1/2 cupButter
1 cupSour cream
2 tbspCreole seasoning
2 tbspKosher salt for sprinkling
Procedures:
1Preheat the oven to 400°F.
2Sift together the flour, sugar, salt, and baking soda into a bowl or food processor.
3Cut in the butter.
4Add the sour cream and creole seasoning (see recipe for creole seasoning), and mix to a soft dough.
5Roll out paper-thin on a floured board.
6Cut into 1-?inch squares.
7Sprinkle with kosher salt and place on an ungreased baking sheet.
8Bake for 5-8 minutes.
9Turn off the heat and allow the bread to crisp in the oven.
10Nathalie dupree describes this recipe in her book "new southern cooking" this way; "this crisp, cracker-like bread is good just flavored with salt and sour cream.
11But add creole seasoning and you"ll have a hot and spicy appetizer that will leave your guests begging for the recipe.
