Ingredients:

| | 6 lb. brisket, trimmed | | 1
| pack | Kosher onion soup mix ¾oz. | | 1/4
| tsp | Pepper | | 1/2
| cup | Water | | 1
| tsp | Salt | | | Garlic salt too taste |

Procedures:
| 1 | Place brisket fat side up in lge. | | 2 | Baking or roasting pan. | | 3 | Bake for 10 min. at 400°F.; then reduce heat to 350°F. | | 4 | Sprinkle meat with soup mix, garlic and seasonings and bake 15 min. add water, cover pan, and reduce temp. | | 5 | To 325°F. | | 6 | Bake 2 to 2 ?hrs. | | 7 | Or until meat can be pierced easily with a fork. | | 8 | Thicken drippings with a little flour and serve with brisket |
