Ingredients:
1 Vegex cube or vegetable
Bouillon
1 tspSpike
1/2 tspOnion powder
1 tspGravy Master
1 cupDry TVP
1 smallOnion, diced
1 tbspOil
1/4 tspChili powder
1/4 tspGarlic powder
Pinch of black pepper
1/2 tspOregano
1 tbspSoy sauce
1/4 cupWhite flour
Procedures:
1Add vegex, spike, onion powder and gravy master to boiling water.
2Pour over tvp and let soak for 10 minutes.
3Saute onion in oil.
4Add to soaked tvp.
5Add chili powder, garlic, pepper, oregano and soy sauce.
6Add flour and stir until mixed well.
7Mold and flatten into three patties.
8Fry in a small amount of oil until nicely browned on each side.
9Serve on whole wheat roll or pita pocket with your favorite toppings.
10Judges" comments: these made a scant three burgers.
11For two or more people, you might want to make more than one batch.
