Warm beef and herb salad

Ingredients:
1 lbsFlank steak
1/2 cupRed wine vinegar
2 Garlic cloves, crushed
2 tspBasil, dried, crushed
1 tspSugar
1/2 tspSalt
6 cupMixed greens, torn
1 tbspOlive oil
1 medOnion, cut into thin wedges
1 medRed bell pepper
- cut into strips
Procedures:
1Preparation time: 25 minutes cut beef steak lengthwise into 3 1/8" thick strips, slicing across the grain.
2Combine vinegar, garlic, basil, sugar, and salt; reserve.
3Place salad greens in serving bowl.
4Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
5Stir-fry beef strips (?at a time), 1 to 2 minutes.
6Remove with slotted spoon and keep warm.
7Add onion and bell pepper to the sillet, stir-fry 2 to 3 minutes or until tender-crisp.
8Return beef to skillet with reserved dressing; heat through.
9Spoon beef mixture and hot dressing over salad greens.
10Toss and serve immediately.
11Season with pepper if desired.
12Serving suggestion: warm dinner rolls
