Ingredients:

| cup | Red wine vinegar | | 2
| | Garlic cloves, crushed | | 2
| tsp | Basil, dried, crushed | | 1
| tsp | Sugar | | 1/2
| tsp | Salt | | 6
| cup | Mixed greens, torn | | 1
| tbsp | Olive oil | | 1
| med | Onion, cut into thin wedges | | 1
| med | Red bell pepper | | | - cut into strips |

Procedures:
| 1 | Preparation time: 25 minutes cut beef steak lengthwise into 3 1/8" thick strips, slicing across the grain. | | 2 | Combine vinegar, garlic, basil, sugar, and salt; reserve. | | 3 | Place salad greens in serving bowl. | | 4 | Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. | | 5 | Stir-fry beef strips (?at a time), 1 to 2 minutes. | | 6 | Remove with slotted spoon and keep warm. | | 7 | Add onion and bell pepper to the sillet, stir-fry 2 to 3 minutes or until tender-crisp. | | 8 | Return beef to skillet with reserved dressing; heat through. | | 9 | Spoon beef mixture and hot dressing over salad greens. | | 10 | Toss and serve immediately. | | 11 | Season with pepper if desired. | | 12 | Serving suggestion: warm dinner rolls |
