Ingredients:

| | (3oz)pkg.lime Jell-O | | 1 1/2
| cup | Boiling water | | 1/2
| cup | Juice from canned pears | | 1/4
| tsp | Salt | | 1
| tsp | Vinegar | | 2
| cup | Canned pears, diced | | 2
| | (3oz)pkg.cream cheese | | 1/4
| tsp | Ginger |

Procedures:
| 1 | Dissolve jell-o in boiling water. | | 2 | Add pear juice, salt and vinegar. | | 3 | Pour ?inch into a loaf pan. | | 4 | Chill until firm. | | 5 | Chill remaining jell-o until cold and syrupy. | | 6 | Place in bowl of cracked ice and whip until fluffy like whipped cream. | | 7 | Cream cheese with ginger, fold in gelatin mixture gradually. | | 8 | Fold in pears. | | 9 | Pour over firm first layer. | | 10 | Chill until firm. | | 11 | Unmold on crisp lettuce. | | 12 | Garnish with mayonnaise |
