Ingredients:
12 Italian plum tomatoes
-sliced
1 bunchBasil, coarsely chopped
1 Maui or red onion, thinly
-sliced
1 tbspOlive oil (opt)
2 tbspWine vinegar
Freshly ground pepper
Chives
Procedures:
1Arrange tomato slices on serving platter or 6 individual plates.
2Top with basil and onion slices.
3Sprinkle with oil, vinegar and pepper.
4Garnish platter with long, uncut chives.
5Makes 6 servings.
