Ingredients:
50 mlRed wine
25 gramsCaster sugar
75 gramsRedcurrants
-- topped and tailed
75 gramsRaspberries
175 gramsCherries, washed and stoned
Crème fraiche (Vegans omit)
Procedures:
1Serves 2-3 this red fruit salad looks quite spectacular, and its flavours live up to its looks.
2A lovely dessert for fine summer weather and for eating "al fresco".
3Heat the wine with the sugar until the sugar dissolves.
4Bring to the boil and pour over the fruit in a bowl.
5Allow the fruit salad to stand at room temperature for an hour or two, stirring from time to time.
6Chill, and serve with crème fraiche.
