Grilled vegetable salad (salata mechouya)

Ingredients:
4 medTomatoes
6 largeAnaheim chili peppers
3 Cloves garlic -- peeled
1 smallOnion -- quartered
1/4 tspGround cumin
1/4 tspFreshly ground black pepper
1/2 tspSalt -- to taste
2 tbspLemon juice
1/4 cupParsley -- finely chopped
Procedures:
1Grill vegetables over medium-hot coals, turning frequently, until they have blackened patches all over.
2Remove stems and seeds from peppers (remove skin if desired) and cut in strips.
3Cut tomatoes into 4-5 pieces each and remove core.
4Slice onion quarters in half crosswise and separate.
5Crush or chop garlic.
6In small bowl, blend to gether all othger ingredients except parsley.
7Pour over vegetables, stir to coat and let sit 30 minutes.
8Stir in parsley just before serving
