Ingredients:
1 1/2 cupPeas
2 largePotatoes, ?inch cubes
1 cupChopped tomato
2 Cloves minced garlic
1/2 cupOnion, chopped
4 tbspOil
1 tspSalt
1/4 tspGaram masala
1/4 tspTumeric
1/4 tspGround coriander
1 cupWater
1/4 tspCayenne
Procedures:
1In heavy frying pan, heat oil over low heat.
2Add onion and garlic and cook till light brown.
3Add tomato and all spices except cayenne.
4Cook for 5 min, continually stirring to form a well blended sauce.
5Add potatoes and stir for a minute to cover with sauce.
6Add water and cook covered over med. heat for 10 min. remove cover and add peas.
7Lower heat and cook another 15 min. at the end, both vegetables should be done but not too soft or mushy.
8Taste for seasoning and add cayenne for desired hotness.
