Mocha rum sauce

Ingredients:
3/4 cupUnsalted butter
1 1/3 cupSugar
1 1/3 cupWhipping cream
1/2 cupCocoa
3 tbspDark rum, divided
1/4 tbspSalt
1 tbsp+ 1 t instant coffee
1 tbspVanilla extract
Procedures:
1Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over medium heat.
2Stir in sugar, whipping cream, cocoa, 2 tablespoons rum and salt.
3Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4Remove from heat, and stir in coffee granules, vanilla and remaining 1 tablespoon rum.
5Cover and refrigerate.
6Let stand at room temperature 30 minutes before serving.
