Ingredients:

| cup | Fresh blueberries | | 1
| cup | Water | | 3
| tbsp | Fresh lemon juice | | 2
| tbsp | Cornstarch | | 3
| tbsp | Sugar | | 1 1/2
| pint | Lemon sorbet | | 2
| cup | Fresh blueberries |

Procedures:
| 1 | Lemon peel, thinly sliced (yellow part only) fresh lemon balm or mint sprigs sauce: combine 4 cups fresh blueberries (or frozen), water, lemon juice and cornstarch in heavy large saucepan. | | 2 | Stir over medium-high heat until mixture boils and thickens. | | 3 | Cool slightly. | | 4 | Puree mixture in processor or blender until smooth. | | 5 | Mix in sugar. | | 6 | Refrigerate until chilled, about 3 hours. | | 7 | (can be prepared 2 days ahead). | | 8 | Scoop sorbet into goblets. | | 9 | Spoon sauce over. | | 10 | Top with fresh berries. | | 11 | Garnish with lemon peel and lemon balm. | | 12 | Bon appetit, june, 1991. |
