Ingredients:
2 lbsItalian Sausage
1/2 cupWater
4 each28 oz. canned tomatoes
1 each8 oz. tomatoe paste
1/3 cupWine, dry red
1 1/2 tbspParmesan
1 1/4 tspSugar
2 tbspMinced Onion
4 eachGarlic cloves
2 tbspOregano
2 tbspRosemary
1 tbspThyme
2 tbspBasil
1 tbspParsley
2 eachBay Leaf
Salt
Pepper
Procedures:
1(use fresh herbs, or cut the amount by 1/3) pierce sausage link with fork.
2Place in baking pan with ?cup water and broil, turning once, until browned.
3Reserve pan drippings.
4Mash or cut tomatoes and add remaining ingredients.
5Mix in sausage links and pan drippings.
6Simmer 4-6 hours or until mixture reaches desired consistency.
7Remove bay leaves before serving.
8Freezes well.
