Ingredients:
3 cupLoosely packed fresh basil
3/4 cupOlive oil
1/4 cupPine nuts
3 Garlic cloves
1 tspSalt
1/2 cupParmesan cheese -
Freshly grated
3 tbspRomano pecorino cheese OR
Parmesan cheese
Procedures:
1Put basil, oil, pine nuts, garlic and salt into a blender or food processor.
2Process until smooth.
3Pour sauce into small bowl.
4Add parmesan cheese and romano pecorino cheese or extra parmesan cheese.
5Mix to blend.
6Taste and adjust for seasoning.
7If you plan to freeze the sauce, add the cheese after the sauce has thawed.
