Ingredients:
1 1/2 cupSugar
1 cupHalf-and-half
1/2 cupLight corn syrup
6 tbspButter or margarine
1/2 tspVanilla
Procedures:
1In medium saucepan, combine sugar, ?cup of the half-and-half, corn syrup and butter.
2Bring to a full boil.
3Gradually add remaining half-and-half.
4Be sure boiling does not stop! Cook over medium heat to soft ball stage (230°F)., stirring occasionally.
5Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
6Serve warm over ice cream or cake.
