Ingredients:
1/4 cupBrown Sugar, Packed
2 tbspCornstarch
8 ozTomato Sauce, 1 cn
8 1/2 ozPineapple, Crushed, Undrained
1 tbspLemon Juice
1 tbspGinger, Crystallized, Minced
1/4 tspOnion Salt
1/4 tspGarlic Salt
1/8 tspPepper
Procedures:
1Blend the brown sugar and cornstarch in a 1-quart saucepan.
2Add the remaining ingredients, blend thoroughly.
3Bring to a boil, stirring.
4Lower heat and cover.
5Simmer gently for 15 to 20 minutes.
6Stir occasionally.
7Use as a basting or serving sauce for chicken, ribs, or meatballs.
8Makes 2 cups of sauce.
