| 1 | Heat oven to 350°F. |

| 8 | Pour batter into pan. |
| 9 | Bake about 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. |
| 10 | Immediately sprinkle chocolate pieces over cake. |
| 11 | Place baking sheet over pan so contained heat will soften chocolate pieces. |
| 12 | Spread softened chocolate evenly over cake; sprinkle with reserved nuts. |
| 13 | Serve warm. |
| 14 | *to prepare cake with electric mixer, measure all ingredients except nuts and chocolate pieces into large mixer bowl. |
| 15 | Blend ?minute on low speed, scraping bowl constantly. |
| 16 | Beat 3 minutes high speed, scraping bowl occasionally. |
