Ingredients:
Brownie base:
12 ozNestle Toll House Little
Bits semi-sweet chocolate
Divided
1/2 cupSugar
1/4 cupButter, softened
2 Eggs
1 tspVanilla extract
1/2 tspSalt
2/3 cupAll purpose flour
Cheesecake Topping:
8 ozPackage of cream cheese
Softened
1/2 cupSugar
2 tbspButter, softened
2 Eggs
2 tbspMilk
1 tbspAll purpose flour
1/2 tspAlmond extract
3/4 cupNestle Little Bits
Semi-sweet chocolate
(reserved from 12 oz.)
Procedures:
1Brownie base: preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2In a double boiler, melt over hot (not boiling) watger, 1 ?cups of nestle toll house little bits semi-sweet chocolate.
3Stir until smooth.
4Set aside.
5In a large bowl, combine sugar and butter; beat until creamy.
6Add eggs, vanilla extract, and salt.
7Mix well.
8Add melted morsels and flour; mix well.
9Spread into foil-lined 9 inch square baking pan.
10Cheesecake topping: in a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, and butter.
11Beat until creamy.
12Add eggs, milk, flour, and almond extract; beat well.
13Stir in remaining ?cup of nestle toll house semi-sweet chocolate.
14Pour over brownie base.
15Bake at 350 °F for 40 to 45 minutes.
16Cool completely on a wire rack.
17Cut into 2 ?inch squares.
