Ingredients:
2 cupSugar
1 3/4 cupFlour
3/4 cupUnsweetened cocoa
2 tspBaking powder
1 tspBaking soda
1/2 tspSalt
1 cupStrong coffee
1 cupSour cream
1/2 cupVegetable oil
2 Eggs
1 tspVanilla
FROSTING
4 ozUnsweetened chocolate
1/3 cupWater
2 tbspButter
1 tspVanilla
3 cupPowdered sugar
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 350.
2Butter 9 x 13" pan; set aside.
3Use metal blade to mix the first 6 ingredients until combined, about 5 seconds.
4In a 4 cup liquid measure, stir together the remaining ingredients.
5With the machine running, slowly pour liquid in a steady stream through the small feed tube.
6Let blend until smooth, about 5 seconds.
7Scrape down work bowl and mix 5 seconds more.
8Pour into prepared pan and bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
9Remove from oven and let cool on wire rack.
10Frost with dark chocolate frosting.
11Break chocolate into 1" chunks.
12Use metal blade to chop fine.
13Bring water and butter just to boil; remove from heat; add vanilla.
14With machine running, pour liquid in slow stream through tube.
15Scrape; add sugar.
16Blend
