Ingredients:

| cup | Cocoa | | 2
| tsp | Baking soda | | 1
| tsp | Baking powder | | 1
| tsp | Salt | | 2
| | Eggs | | 1/2
| cup | Oil, vegetable | | 1
| cup | Coffee, black, strong | | 1
| cup | Buttermilk | | 1
| tsp | Vanilla extract | | | Hundred dollar frosting: | | 1/4
| cup | Butter | | 3
| oz | Semisweet chocolate, 3 squa | | 1
| | Egg | | 2
| cup | Sugar, icing | | 1
| tbsp | Vanilla | | 1
| tbsp | Lemon juice | | 1
| cup | Walnuts, chopped |

Procedures:
| 1 | Sift together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl. | | 2 | Add eggs, oil, coffee, buttermilk and vanilla. | | 3 | Beat with an electric mixer set at medium speed for 3 minutes. | | 4 | Pour batter into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. | | 5 | Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 40 minutes or until the cake tests done. | | 6 | Cool in pan on rack. | | 7 | Frost with hundred dollar frosting. | | 8 | Cut into squares. | | 9 | Hundred dollar frosting: combine butter and semisweet chocolate in a double boiler top. | | 10 | Place over hot water, stirring until melted. | | 11 | Remove and cool well. | | 12 | Add egg and stir vigorously. | | 13 | Stir in confectioners" sugar, vanilla and lemon juice. | | 14 | Beat until smooth. | | 15 | Stir in walnuts and frost cake with icing. |
