Ingredients:
3/4 cupBrown sugar
3/4 cupWhite sugar
1 Egg
3/4 cupShortening
2 cupFlour
Dash salt
1 tspVanilla
1 tspCinnamon
1 cupMilk
1 tspVinegar
1 tspBaking soda
1 1/2 cupRhubarb, uncooked, sliced
Topping:
1 cupBrown sugar
1 tspCinnamon
1/2 cupNuts, chopped
Procedures:
1Cream sugars and shortening.
2Add eggs.
3Mix flour, salt, vanilla and cinnamon.
4Dissolve vinegar and baking soda in milk.
5Add dry ingredients to sugar mixture alternately with milk mixture.
6Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13" pan.
7Combine topping ingredients; sprinkle over batter.
