| cup | Cake flour or 1 ?c all - | | | Purpose flour |

Procedures:
| 1 | Heat oven to 325 deg f. | | 2 | Lightly grease a 9 x 5 x 3 bread pan. | | 3 | Beat margarine until a bowl until smooth, about 30 seconds. | | 4 | With mixer on low speed, gradually add sugar. | | 5 | Increase speed to high and beat until light and fluffy. | | 6 | With mixer on still on high, add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. | | 7 | Add vanilla and salt and beat until very pale in color and increased in volume. | | 8 | With a rubber spatula mix in flour, about a third of a cup at a time until smooth. | | 9 | Scrape batter into prepared pan and bake for 1 hour 1nd 15 minutes or until pick inserted in middle comes out clean. | | 10 | Cool cake in pan for 15 minutes. | | 11 | Remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack. | | 12 | Per serving: 223 calories, 3 g protein, 26 g carbs, 12 g fat, 87 mg chol, 80 mg sodium. |
