Ingredients:
2/3 cupButter or margarine
1 1/3 cupSugar
1 tspBaking soda
1/2 tspSalt
1/2 cupAsparagus puree( cooked )
3 Squares melted chcolate
1 1/2 tspVanilla
1 3/4 cupFlour
3 Eggs
1/2 cupButtermilk
Procedures:
1Cream butter and sugar.
2Blend in asparagus, chocolate, vanilla.
3Combine flour with baking soda.
4Add alterantely with buttermilk to creamed mixture.
5Turn into 2, 8 inch cake pans and bake 350°F for 35 minutes or tested done.
6Cool in pans for 10 minutes and remove to racks to cool.
7Fill and frost with a chocolate frosting.
