Ingredients:
1/2 cupShortening
1 cupSugar
2 Eggs
1 tspVanilla
2 cupFlour
1 tspBaking powder
1 tspBaking soda
1/4 tsp-Salt
1 cupSour cream
2 cupApple, finely chopped
Topping:
1/2 cupNuts, chopped
1/2 cupBrown sugar, packed
1 tspCinnamon, ground
2 tbspButter, melted
Procedures:
1Fat grams per serving: approx. cook time: :40 preheat oven to 350°F.
2In mixing bowl, cream together shortening and sugar.
3Add eggs and vanilla, beat well.
4Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
5Add to creamed mixture, alternating with sour cream.
6Fold in apple.
7Spread batter in greased 13 x 9 x 2" baking pan or large greased bundt pan.
8Combine nuts, brown sugar, cinnamon and butter.
9Sprinkle nut mixture evenly over batter.
10Bake 350f for 35-40 minutes.
