Ingredients:

2 cupBisquick baking mix
2/3 cupMilk or cold water
3 tbspSugar
1 Egg
2 cupApples (about 2), thinly
-pared and thinly sliced
STREUSEL TOPPING
2/3 cupBisquick baking mix
2/3 cupBrown sugar, packed
1 tspGround cinnamon
1/2 tspGround nutmeg
1/4 cupFirm margarine or butter
GLAZE
1/2 cupPowdered sugar
2 To 3 teaspoons milk
Procedures:
1Heat oven to 400 °F.
2Grease square pan, sugar and egg; beat vigorously 30 seconds.
3Spread half of the batter in pan.
4Arrange apple slices on batter; sprinkle with half of the streusel topping.
5Spread remaining batter over apple slices; sprinkle with remaining topping.
6Sprinkle with nuts.
7Bake until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, about 25 minutes; cool.
8Drizzle with glaze.
9streusel topping: mix baking mix, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg, cut in margarine until crumbly.
10glaze: mix powdered sugar and milk until smooth and of desired consistency.
