Ingredients:
1 1/2 cupKetchup
1/2 cupPrepared chili sauce
1/4 cupPrepared steak sauce
3 tbspDry mustard
2 tbspPrepared horseradish
1 tbspMolasses
1 tbspRed wine vinegar
1 tbspJalapeno pepper -- minced
1 tbspGarlic juice
1 tbspTabasco sauce
Procedures:
1Whisk first 10 ingredients in bowl.
2Add hot pepper sauce to taste.
3(can be prepared up to 1 week in advance.
4Cover and chill.
5Bring to room temperature to serve).
6I have also made a great briskit that i got general directions for from my cousin in tx who competes in briskit cook-offs.
7I ate his once and it was fantastic, melted in your mouth.
8I have tried to duplicate it and have come close.
9Here it is:
10mix together apple juice, italian dressing, liquid smoke and inject into briskit (or poke holes in it and marinate in stuff overnight) when you smoke it, wrap it in aluminum foil for at least the first half of smoking time.
11This is the secret to being tender.
12Unwrap for the last hour or two to brown.
13Serve with barbecue sauce.
