Rockets' red glare barbecue sauce

Ingredients:
2 12-oz. bottles chili sauce
2 Garlic cloves, minced
1/3 cupKetchup
1/3 cupCider vinegar
1/3 cupBrown sugar
3 tbspWorcestershire sauce
3 tbspSherry
2 tbspChili powder
2 tspGround cumin
1 tspCrushed red pepper
Procedures:
1Stir together all ingredients in medium saucepan; bring to a boil and lower heat to just a simmer.
2Simmer for 20 minutes; stirring occasionally, until mixture is thickened and flavors are nicely blended.
3Remove to medium bowl or quart-sized jar, cool slightly, cover and refrigerate until serving.
4Makes 4 cups.
