Ingredients:
1/4 cupFlour
1/2 tspSalt
Procedures:
1Pn pepper 2 lb round steak (1" thick) 2 tb shortening 1 cn vegetable soup ?cn water 1 c sliced onion combine flour and seasonings; pound into steak with meat hammer or edge of heavy saucer.
2In large frying pan, brown steak in shortening; pour off fat.
3Add remaining ingredients.
4Cover, cook over low heat 1 hour 15 minutes or until tender.
5Stir occasionally.
