A-maize-ing chowder

Ingredients:
1 cupSliced leek or onion
1 cupSliced carrot
1 smallBaking potato cubed
1 cupDefatted chicken broth
2 cupEvaporated skim milk
1 cupFrozen whole kernel corn
2 tbspChopped parsley
Salt & pepper to taste
Procedures:
1In medium saucepan, combine leek, carrot and potato with chicken broth.
2Cover and simmer 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
3Puree then add milk and corn.
4Heat without boiling, to serving temperature.
5Season to taste with salt and pepper.
6Serve sprinkled with parsley.
