5 bean soup

Ingredients:
1 cupPinto beans
1 cupNavy beans
1 cupBlack eyed peas
10 cupWater
1 cupChicken bouillon
1 cupDiced onion
1 can(16-oz) cut tomatos
3/4 tspThyme
1/4 tspPepper
1 cupRed beans
1 cupNorthern beans
2 Whole bay leaves
2 lbsMeaty ham bones
1 1/2 cupSmoked ham
1 tbspChili powder
1/4 tspWorcestershire sauce
1 medGrated carrot
Procedures:
1Place beans into 4 quart kettle, cover with 2 inches of water and allow to soak overnight.
2Drain water then add ham bones, water and bay leaves.
3Simmer covered for 2 hours.
4Remove ham bones and return any meat to kettle.
5Add bouillon, onions, chili and garlic powder, thyme, pepper, tomatos, carrot and worcestershire sauce.
6Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
7Add water as needed.
8Serve with hot cornbread.
