| cup | Flour, (4-5 t.) | | 1 3/4
| cup | Chicken stock, (i use a good | | 1 3/4
| cup | Apple cider, (?pt) | | 3
| | Apples | | 3/4
| tbsp | Dry basil, (i use 1 t.) | | 3/4
| tbsp | Dry majoram, (i use 1 t.) | | | Salt and pepper, to taste | | 1/3
| cup | Heavy cream, (4-5 t.) | | | Chopped parsley, for garnish |

Procedures:
| 1 | Move to a casserole dish. | | 2 | Add onion, garlic to oil in pan and saute until beginning to brown. | | 3 | Sprinkle in flour, and saute gently until be- ginning to brown. | | 4 | Gradually blend in stock and cider and bring to boil, stirring as it thickens. | | 5 | Add herbs and seasoning. | | 6 | Pour over the pork. | | 7 | Cover and refigerate (if nec). | | 8 | Until ready to cook. | | 9 | Place in a 350f/180c oven. | | 10 | Cook for 1 hour. | | 11 | Meanwhile, peel, core and slice apples, reserving some for garnish, if desired. | | 12 | Add apples to casserole, and bake for 45 more minutes, until meat is tender. | | 13 | Stir cream in before serving. | | 14 | Garnish if desired. |
