| 1 | Sprinkle crumbs evenly over bottom of baking dish about 8 x 8 inches. |
| 2 | Pat sausage meat on waxed paper to size of dish. |
| 3 | Invert over crumbs and remove paper. |
| 4 | Cover. |
| 5 | Bake in 350°F oven for 30 minutes. |
| 6 | Drain off as much fat as you can manage without disturbing meat. |
| 7 | While meat is cooking, melt butter in medium size saucepan. |
| 8 | Add curry, salt, pepper, onion and cheese. |
| 9 | Stir until cheese is melted. |
| 10 | Stir in flour. |
| 11 | Add milk and beaten egg. |
| 12 | Stir vigorously until thickened. |
| 13 | It will be thick. |
| 14 | Remove from heat. |
| 15 | When ready, remove sausage meat from oven. |
| 16 | Drain. |
| 17 | Spread mixture evenly over the meat. |
| 18 | Leave uncovered. |
| 19 | Return to oven and bake at 400°F for 30 minutes until golden brown. |
| 20 | Serves 3-Recipe can be doubled and baked in 9 x 13 inch pan. |
