Ingredients:
6 Pork chops
2 largeBell peppers, sliced
2 tbspCornstarch
1 tspCrushed basil
1 tspSugar
2 largeOnions, sliced
1 tspSalt
1 canWhole tomatoes (16 oz.)
1/2 tspBeau Monde seasoning
1 tspWater
Procedures:
1Trim fat from 1 chop.
2Rub fat over bottom of skillet on med heat.
3Dirscard fat.
4Brown chops on both sides.
5Add onion, green pepper, tomatoes and their liquid, basil, beau monde seasoning, salt and sugar.
6Boil, reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 45 min. remove chops to serving dish.
7Blend cornstarch and water in cup until smooth, gradually stir into liquid and cook until thickened, abt.
