Ingredients:
YIELD: 4 SERVINGS
1 eachTb oil
1 eachGarlic clove, minced
1 lbsPork, sliced in small pieces
1/4 tspPepper
1/4 tspMonosodium glutamate
4 eachTb patis
4 eachTb MSG (optional)
1 medOnion, sliced
1 medTomato, diced
1 eachTb dried shrimp, opt'l
1 cupButton mushrooms
1 cupWater
1 smallWhite squash (opu), sliced
- into 1 x ?inch pieces
- (approx 4 cups) OR...
3 lbsKabatiti (sequa), peeled and
- cut into ?inch slices
- may be substituted
Procedures:
1On medium-high heat, brown garlic in oil.
2Add pork, pepper, msg and 2 tbsp. patis.
3Cook until pork is lihtly browned.
4Add tomato, onion and dried shrimp, stirring until onion is done.
5Add mushrooms and water.
6Bring to boil.
7Add sliced squash and remaining patis.
8Simmer on medium heat for 10 minutes or until squash is done.
9Serve hot.
10Makes approximately 5 servings.
