Ingredients:
1/2 lbsGround lean buffalo
Or sirloin
1 cupChopped onions
1/2 cupChopped green peppers

8 ozLow-salt tomato sauce
14 1/2 ozLow sodium beef broth
=(canned or dry substitute)
6 ozLow-salt tomato paste
2 tspChili powder
1/2 tspCumin
Brown sugar to taste

2 canDark red kidney beans
Procedures:
1Recipe by: governor jim edgar, illinois cook beef, onion and green peppers over medium heat until beef is well done and onion and peppers are soft.
2Strain all and run under hot water until beef loses oily feel when touched.
3Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
4Reduce heat and simmer.
5Adjust seasonings to taste.jm.
